VanLeigha Foundation & Institute

The VanLeigha Foundation is a living, breathing symbol of Lisa’s love
for the animals and children who populate her life.
I see it as a testament to Lisa’s heart.
A kind of female St. Francis of Assisi if you will.
An uber-loving mother acknowledged on this Mother’s Day.

In perfect Harmony

This is my beautiful Havanese female, MeMe. She was so small when we started out but grew into an absolutely stunning adult. When MeMe decided to really strut her stuff, she got into perfect harmony with you in the ring. If you notice, her perfect step - two off the floor whenever she moved forward - showing just a hint of a flash of pad. MeMe achieved her AKC Championship on September 6th, 2008. My first champion! Then the next weekend she went on to surprise us all by getting a reserve-best-in-show at the American Rare Breed Association's Northern California Classis. She was second only to the top mini-Australian for the last 10 years. What a heady few weeks it was for all of us.
